This tasting includes the following samples: WESTWARD WHISKEY (American) Appearance / Color Amber Nose / Aroma / Smell Herbal aromas are followed by a hint of cinnamon, lemon curd, oak, and butterscotch. Flavor / Taste / Palate The herbal nose is translated to the palate and accompanied by notes of butterscotch, orange peel, baking spice, orchard fruit, and oak. Finish Long herbal finish with a touch of orange peel, cocoa, and lemon. COPPERSEA (Rye) Appearance / Color Ruddy Bronze Nose / Aroma / Smell The aroma is strong with notes of orange marmalade, cocoa, espresso, exotic wood, and a hint of spice. Flavor / Taste / Palate The palate builds up from the aromas with added notes of cherry cordials, caramel sauce, roasted pecans, and toasted oak. Finish The finish is long, warm, and deeply flavored. FISTFUL OF BOURBON Appearance / Color Deep Gold Nose / Aroma / Smell The nose opens with vanilla, mint, ginger, and caramel aromas with some corn and nuttiness hovering in the background.
